Uncle Saul Schottenstein
The Saul Schottenstein Foundation B exists in loving memory of “Uncle Saul” Schottenstein 1922-2007, who will always be remembered for his humility, devotion to his community, and as a man who gave freely of himself to others. Though he had no children, he was affectionately known as “Uncle Saul”. A man passionate in his faith and in his work and to so many causes throughout his life.

- Over-the-Rhine International Film FestivalThe Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival is a film festival in the Over-the-Rhine area of Cincinnati, Ohio, that presents stories that celebrate the human spirit. The Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival envisions a world that celebrates difference, diversity, and honors our shared humanity – a world where film and media reflect and value all, it is a platform to see through another’s eyes. Saul Schottenstein Foundation B is the Founding Sponsor of both the Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival, which is the new name and expanded vision, for the successful Cincinnati ReelAbilities Film Festival, which came to Cincinnati in 2011. Launched by LADD in 2013 as a biennial celebration of the lives, stories, and art of people who experience disabilities, it grew to be the largest film festival in the greater Cincinnati region. In 2018, LADD, with its Founding Sponsor Saul Schottenstein Foundation B, expanded the scope of the Festival to move beyond a singular focus on disability-specific programming to focus on a celebration of our shared humanity. The new scope is consistent with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ focus on diversifying film at every level.
